The Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists
Housed in an 1870 neo-Gothic mansion, Abbotsford, designed by Boston architect Alden Frink, The Museum is dedicated to the celebration, exhibition, collection and criticism of black visual arts heritage worldwide. The Museum presents a wide range of historical and contemporary exhibitions in many media, including painting, sculpture, graphics, photography and decorative arts.
The Roxbury-based center is instrumental in providing artists who lead our patients in their enrichment activities. Ample free parking is available; find directions and museum information at: www.ncaaa.org/visitncaaa.
Philip Croteau (1944–2006)
A special exhibition in memory of Philip Croteau, a generous supporter and friend of Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, will be presented. At the time of his passing, Mr. Croteau was involved in re-establishing the Shattuck Partners organization.
THANK YOU!
A special "thank you" to Willow Labs for its sponsorship of this event.
The art expression programs at the Shattuck Hospital were made possible by the generous support from the Society for Arts in Healthcare and funding from the Pittsfield Anti-Tuberculosis Association through grants awarded to Shattuck Partners, Inc.
